Join us for an exclusive guided tour of Future Makers: Chairs by New Designers, led by the emerging designers from KPU’s Wilson School of Design who created the works on display. They’ll share the inspirations, challenges and processes behind their unique chair prototypes.

This intimate tour offer a behind-the-scenes look at how decades-old marine-grade mahogany was transformed into contemporary designs that blend sustainability, innovation and cultural awareness. Learn how each piece reflects the next generation’s approach to making—one rooted in creativity, collaboration and responsibility.

About the moderator

Iryna Karaush

With a strong architectural background, Iryna’s professional journey encompasses furniture design and the sports apparel industry. In furniture design, she collaborated with an international company to create pieces harmonizing sustainable functionality, and aesthetics. In sports apparel, she developed performance-enhancing tennis gear, prioritizing advanced materials and ergonomic design for female athletes’ comfort and efficiency. Through collaboration and cross-cultural exchanges, Iryna integrates social and ecological sustainability into her work, aiming at meaningful contributions to product design and innovation.
