In November 2020, 24 community members sealed away boxes filled with fragments of their everyday lives—ordinary objects carrying us through an extraordinary year. Inspired by Andy Warhol’s 610 time capsules, the project invited us to preserve not just headlines or hardships, but intimate traces of that moment.

Five years later, it’s time to open them. Each participant will unseal their capsule one week before the event and curate a small installation from their memories. On November 29, we’ll bring those installations together for an Andy Warhol–themed public gathering—part remembrance, part revelry—with food, drinks, and celebration.

Throughout the night, the audience will be invited to respond—through Polaroids, writing prompts, and other contributions. Together, we’ll build a new communal time capsule, capturing the echoes of 2020, the reflections of 2025, and our shared hopes for the future, to be sealed until 2030. Join us for an evening of memory, celebration, and community!
