Discover amazing art, crafts and goodies from talented local makers who are here to share their creations with you.

Admission to the Market is free, however regular admission rates apply if you want to visit the galleries (self-identified Indigenous visitors are always welcome free of charge). Don’t miss your chance to celebrate Pride, community and culture all in one place!

Adishi Gupta

Adishi is an emerging artist based in Vancouver. She is self-taught and creates from her lived experiences of racialization, queerness and disability. She sells digital collage art prints, greeting cards, stickers, magnets, bookmarks and zines. 


Carboniferous Cuties

I am a half Sri Lankan artist designing jewelry pieces that depict aspects of my culture and how people are part of biodiversity from Turtle Island to the global south. I make timeless pieces out of fossils, insects, crystal and metal. 


Creations by Night

Creations by Night is a local Queer Indigenous artist and designer. Their creations include handmade ceramics featuring forest creatures. Many queer creatures are waiting to be adopted.

Kimoowun Beads

Kimoowun Beads, aka Shawn Bourks, is a 2S Métis beadwork artist who resides in East Vancouver with her family and their dog. She practices beadwork and fur tufting, carrying the traditional Métis teachings that were gifted to her from mentors Lisa Shepherd, Adele Arseneau, plus her Ma and Aunties.

Shawn blends traditional materials with contemporary elements to create unique yet timeless beaded jewelry and accessories. To Shawn, beadwork is more than creating wearable art, it is a direct connection to their Ancestors and way of preserving her Métis heritage.

My name is Malia Terry. I am an Indigenous youth artist and Indigenous educator creating safe spaces through crafting. I am Stʼatʼimc, Nisga’a and Tsimshian. I come from the house of Wilp Nii'is Y'uus. I am Gisk'aast, which is the Killerwhale clan. I was born and raised in East Van. My art is inspired by my gorgeous homelands, the beautiful city, the connection to the community, and the land. I have the great honour to bring to life my creations. I make paintings, healing board energy pieces, beautiful mosaic collages, beadwork, devils club necklaces and much, much more.

Hey! I'm Marisa Law, I am a multi-talented, Indigenous youth artist. My artwork consists of beadwork, leatherwork, lino prints, medicine (sage, etc), painting, and small crochet accessories. I love to create art that reflects nature and my exploration of my culture!

I am a nonbinary mixed race (Chinese and Dutch) queer settler artist from so called “Vancouver.” I make ceramics, plushies, and 3D printed trinkets. I am also a kids’ art teacher and technology educator.

Margaux Wosk is a neurodivergent, Autistic, and disabled self-employed artist and advocate based in British Columbia. Through their brand Retrophiliac, they design and sell bold, message-driven products like pins, keychains and stickers that promote disability pride, neurodiversity and inclusion.

Sacha Ouellet

For this market Sacha will be offering Tarot readings by donation. Sacha has been trained in Tarot by their Rom mentor and carries forward the ancestral teachings offered by the people who created Tarot. Sacha may sell beadwork, such as small jewelry and earrings at this event, depending on their abilities/capacity leading up to the event. Sacha creates visual art, installations, poetry, articles, jewelry and wearable designs.


Thelildragonstudio

Thelildragonstudio is a multidisciplinary artisan business selling a variety of handmade goods while focusing on sustainability. Some of the wares offered are scrunchies, tote bags and masks made from reclaimed fabrics to prevent more textile waste. Prints and stickers are a fan favourite as well as Indigenous made edge beaded seal fur earrings. Some other wares include coasters, colouring pages, bookmarks and lino prints. Everything is handmade by the artist Jessey Tustin.


Thorn and Hare

We are a trans and disabled owned small business selling handmade patches (lino printed), crotchet and sewn clothes and bags, and handmade jewelry. Our products are largely gothic and punk in aesthetic.
