Bat Box Building - website promo image.jpg

Discover the bewildering and bewitching World of Bats!

Join instructors from the South Coast Bat Conservation Society and a cauldron of bat box builders to create homes for our furry-winged friends. Stressed out mama bats need help finding a home to raise their pups. Become a Bat Superhero and provide shelter for a mama bat and her pups.

Each work station will take home a single bat box that can be installed outside your home, rural cabin, farm or neighborhood park. A 30 minute introductory presentation about Vancouver Bats and the importance of Bat Boxes will precede building activities.

Participants will be working in teams of 4-6 people. Pre-plan your own box building group or attend independently. Each group will leave with a single bat box. Halloween costumes are most welcomed.
