Centre des Monuments Nationaux
Centre des Monuments Nationaux (CMN) is a national French organization which manages around 100 national heritage sites, including UNESCO sites.
The Learning Department led 3 training sessions with CMN educators from November 2020 to January 2021 to help them develop their own online offerings. The MOV is thrilled to have played its part in this exciting project with such prestigious sites!
Throughout these sessions, MOV Learning Department staff worked with 17 French sites: Glanum archeological site (70,000 visitors a year), Pierrefonds and Coucy castles (165,000 visitors a year), Villa Kerylos (43,000 visitors a year), Panthéon (875,000 visitors a year), Villa Savoye (38,000 visitors a year), Champs-sur-Marne castle (39,000 visitors a year), Azay-le-Rideau castle (31,000 visitors a year), If castle (106,000 visitors a year), Mont-saint-Michel (1,470,000 visitors a year), Sainte Chapelle (1,375,00 visitors a year), Domaine National de Saint-Cloud (144,000 visitors a year), Basilique Saint-Denis(140,000 visitors a year), Oiron castle (23,000 visitors a year), Monastère de Saorge (7,000 visitors a year), Carnac (44,000 visitors a year), Castelnau-Bretenoux castle (45,000 visitors a year), Vincennes castle (132, 000 visitors a year).
