Vanier Park hosts 7th annual Winter Wander - a family friendly cultural event
Vancouver, BC – On Saturday, February 3, 10am to 5pm, Vancouverites from across the lower mainland will visit Vanier Park — located between Kits Beach and Granville Island — for a day of cultural exploration. Winter Wander offers the local community an opportunity to experience all 5 Attractions for $5.00 per person, kids 5 and under are free.
Vanier Park’s unique waterfront attractions: Vancouver Maritime Museum, Museum of Vancouver, H.R. MacMillan Space Centre, Bard on the Beach, Vancouver Academy of Music and City of Vancouver Archives will host an entertaining, informative and engaging day showcasing exquisite art, history, crafts, science, music and theatre.

Not to be missed, are roving performances by Bard’s Young Shakespeareans and the Vancouver Academy of Music students, local artisan demonstrations, intriguing exhibits, a day in space and a rocket lab, exposure to Vancouver archives and a drop-in ball hockey game for eager participants. Plus the enjoyment of local food and coffee vendors, a family fun photo booth and a chance to win great prizes!
